You may recall that we made the official announcement last week about our attendance at Lord's Taverners Sporting Chance Awards.
The Awards Ceremony took place last Friday at Mansion House in London and was hosted by TV Sports Presenter, Manish Bhasin. The Experia team, along with special guests, were delighted to be part of this prestigious occasion. The event featured talks from some of the charity’s famous faces and revealed some very moving stories. It was wonderful to see the real heroes get the recognition they deserved.
Experia proudly sponsored the Personal Development Award and Jan Wdowczyk, Marketing Manager, presented the award, together with Paralympic Swimming Champion Giles Long MBE, to Benjamin Parsons. Unfortunately, Benjamin was unable to attend the ceremony, however, his teacher, Anne Timothy, was pleased to accept the award on his behalf. Benjamin is an inspiration to young people with a disability and has shown a great deal of personal development through his participation in sport, in his case Wheelchair Basketball. We wish Benjamin all the best for the future and look forward to following his progress.
